Unscientific Poll

As an AOL user, I have become accustomed to the liberal slant in most of its content. The funny thing is that I have been keeping track of AOL's election polls for a while and a "curious" thing has begun to happen. President Bush has been beating Kerry by fairly large margins in most of their latest queries. The most recent one is a question about who people think will win the debates. With over 125,000 votes cast, Bush beats Kerry 55% to 45%. (Rhetorical question: You think AOL might take heed and become a little more temperate in its content?)

Want to barter?

I heard Kerry stumping about renewing the assault gun weapons ban that is due to expire next week. I have a great idea. Why don't the Republicans give up the assault guns in exchange for the Democrats giving up partial birth abortion? That sounds pretty reasonable to me.

A couple of great Quotes well worth reading:

"The attack in Beslan...was about religious bigotry so profound that the believer can hold a gun to a child's head, pull the trigger and term the act 'divine justice.'"

Ralph Peters (New York Post)

"John Kerry: Wrong about Vietnam. Wrong about the Sandinistas. Wrong about the Soviets. Wrong about Iraq. The wrong man with the wrong ideas at the wrong time."

Hugh Hewitt (The Weekly Standard)

Note:

I have done a little house cleaning and removed most of the posts to this blog to start fresh. I have left the first couple of posts to establish the start date of this blog.
