The Father Of Modern Terrorism To Be Honored

In this photo released by the Municipality of Paraiba do Sul, Brazilian Sculptor Ivan Pinto poses next to the cast of a statue of the late Yasser Arafat at his studio in Paraiba do Sul, 400 kilometers (250 miles) northeast of Sao Paulo in Rio de Janeiro state, Thursday, Dec. 20, 2004. On Dec. 31, moments before the clock strikes midnight, town residents will watch a fireworks and light show that will serve as a backdrop to the unveiling of a life-sized statue of the Palestinian leader holding the traditional symbol of peace, the olive branch. A little irony alert here. On a scale of 1 to 10, I have got to give this one at least an 11! I particularly like the holding of an olive branch. Yeah, an olive branch in one hand and a suicide bomber belt in the other! What a crock of caca!
