WAPO Does Not (Linky) Luv Vets For Freedom

This is a screen shot of the Sept. 18, 2008 Wapo story that actually reports about a study that shows "the one" has run more negative advertising than the Maverick; 77% vs. 56% in fact.

I was a bit surprised to see this and was going to grudgingly give them some credit. However, that credit was completely lost and then some when I noticed this little bit in the last paragraph. Mr. Kurtz brings up the 527s and mentions that up until now, there has been scant interest group advertising, only 4. He then lists them; 3 pro-"the one," 1 McCain. See next screen shot.

Notice how the only one not hyperlinked is Vets For Freedom?

It's not like a reporter has to wade through a bunch of Google search results to get their URL.
More non-linky luv at Jawa.
Does plausible deniability explain away patterns?
